Heart to Heart Thursdays
Posted by: | CommentsToday on the Afternoon Praise Party with Ace Alexander the Music Commander we asked the question, "What do you do when things don't go as you planned in your relationship?" Let's talk about the times when things are going along fine in your relationship or marriage and ALL OF A SUDDEN, your loved one says, "I don't love you anymore." What do you do?
Sometimes that statement is a sign that we need to spice things up. . . and sometimes it is the beginning of the end. What you do depends on where you are going in your relationship. If you are dating and growing farther apart then this is a conversation starter that includes talk about what we are doing together and where we want to be in the next 12 months. If you are married and growing farther apart then this is a sign that it is time to examine this relationship and find out what each person is wanting from it. It may result in doing something different to rekindle the flame.
God gives us free will and the power to make choices. People are not always as understanding when things change. I say that it helps to hold people loosely– always allowing people to be with you because they want to…not because they have to. What did you do the last time someone changed directions in your life? We want to know.
Too Close Too Soon
Posted by: | CommentsBoy sees girl. Boy likes girl. Boy invites girl for a romp between the sheets. Girl says yes…whaaat? Is this the way love goes these days? We’re talking about it on WAOK 1380’s POWERTALK with Dr. Lorraine Jacques-White. What do you think? Are men and women getting too close too soon? How soon is too soon and how long is too long?
Let’s talk about it.

What’s On Your Mind?
Posted by: | CommentsHi, I’m Dr. Torri. Welcome to my website. The purpose of this site is to create a place for people to interact about the various issues in relationships that impact us daily. We are all social beings involved simultaneously in a variety of relationships: spiritual, social, business, casual, family, personal and so on. Here we can share personal stories, helpful hints, articles and ideas to help each other make better decisions and better choices as we improve the quality of all our relationships. Feel free to blog or follow links to really great places that will help you as you live, love, date, marry and transition in relationships.
It is also my goal to help create a HEALTHY YOU in this process. You are the central force in your life that allows for change and improvement on any level. As you invite change and growth, look for it to come from many directions to help create those opportunities to try new ways to reach new heights. I expect great things from you. Use that life that you were given to make a difference. Someone is waiting to hear from you.
Love the life you live,
Dr. Torri
